Still I Rise: Free Food Giveaway

Still I Rise non-profit organization’s Community Food Distributions will take place on Wednesday, September 14^th, 2022 starting at 4:00pm on the Kankakee Farmers Market grounds. Still I Rise intends to distribute food to hundreds of families. Due to the current financial situations for many families, we look to help those in need again, and continue to make a difference by distributing whole chickens, shrimp, rice, and large boxes of fresh produce to help ensure families in need will have nourishing meals. Challenges for families to purchase food can result in a multitude of health issues along with hunger. However, our initiative will assist in combating these issues.
