The Daily Journal, a part of Shaw Local News Network, is dedicated to serving the local community with news updates. It is our goal to not only remain connected to the community and its needs, but to do what we can to serve these needs. Whether its through sponsoring local events, getting the word out about local resources, or even hosting our own events to meet these needs, it is our goal to make sure that everyone is connected to the many resources that our community has to offer. As a local newspaper, we are here to serve our community by connecting them and informing them of what Kankakee County has to offer by keeping our community in the know about local news, developments, events, and resources.
